Megan Kathol Bersett creates paintings and sculptural works that explore the complex relationship between humans’ mental, social and physical environments and the systems and structures that comprise them. She uses abstraction and layering in a process that is both deliberate and intuitive, which allows a visual idea to develop in the act of painting and to be seen on multiple levels.
